Custom Build Bros' is entwined with a passion for craftsmanship, family bonds and friendship. With Jack's early exposure to woodworking through his father's construction firm and Matt's admiration for his grandad's carpentry skills as a child, the guys would embark on personal journeys that would eventually bring them together.
United by their love for woodwork, the duo transitioned from odd jobs together, expanding into commercial and domestic environments to Custom Build Bros.
Throughout their journey, the duo have self-taught intricate skills and experimented with diverse materials such as hardwoods and resin. Their unwavering passion for joinery remains constant, evident in every project as a testament to their dedication to bespoke creations.

From humble beginnings, health scares, financial struggles and limited resources, to losing Jack's father, Custom Build Bros navigated each hurdle as a team.
Shared passion and vision propelled the pair forward, driving them to outgrow their initial workshop and move into larger yards as their business and team grew.
In November 2023, the team grew by one when Stace (aka Stick) became part of the Custom Build Bros family, becoming the solid third pillar needed for growth.
With her expertise in sales and marketing, Stace brings a fresh perspective to the team, breathing new life into the brand and reimagining the future of Custom Build Bros.
The partnership thrives on shared trust, respect, banter and camaraderie, fostering a bond that extends beyond the workshop.
Resilience
But their journey hasn’t been without challenges.
Shortly after Stace joined Jack faced a sudden health scare – a stroke followed by a seizure and various health issues.
It has been a difficult time for everyone, but they continue to navigate through it together.
As Jack continues to recover and awaits heart surgery at Barts, Matt and Stace remain as committed as ever to pushing forward one project at a time with Jack in the wings.
Custom Build Bros is not just a brand; it's a story— a story of craftsmanship, shared dreams, resilience, and friendship.
